Wuhan Man Declares Love to Girl on Billboard; Girl Says “Too Much Pressure”
Apr 22, 2013 By eChinacities.com

In a stunt that almost outdoes our Google Maps joker from the other week, a Wuhan man named Yin, in an attempt to court his desired partner, had himself appear on a billboard holding a megaphone, along the sentence: “This time, I want the whole world to know: Luo Jing, I love you!”

Yin, a 29 year-old interior decorator that works in the Guangrong Company, met Luo Jing during a chance meeting at work five months ago. After getting to know her at a friend’s party a month later, Yin quickly fell in love with her. After getting in touch with a real estate company, Yin managed to pull off the billboard stunt after the two parties agreed to share advertising space on the board.

The adorable advert is featured at five spots around the city, with the billboard being located on the Guangrong Tiandi Building on Guanda Dadao, and the other four being featured in subway stations. Such advertizing is often very pricey, though the real estate company allowed Yin to do it for free due to the creative aspect of the advertisement.

Yin stated Luo is aware of the stunt, who told him that she was “afraid” and that there was “too much pressure” following the public nature of the whole thing.
