German Avant-Garde Jjzz group, Eberhard Roder Duo, will perform at Shenyang's Xuanzhuan Muma Bar (in the Huangcheng Hotel) on October 12. The duo consists of saxophonist Silke Eberhard and the bassist Jan Roder. In 2007, Eberhard won the 10th Jazz Pott's “Best Avant-Garde Artist” award. Rodder, meanwhile, has been performing in Berlin with other musicians since the mid-nineties.
