Xinjiang Urumqi Foreign Economic Relations and Trade Fair
Approved by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, the China Xinjiang Urumqi Foreign Economic Relations and Trade Fair (Urumqi Fair) is the biggest international fair in Northwest China, connecting markets of Russia, Central Asia and West China and providing business opportunities in the development of the western region. The fair enjoys a first-class reputation and is well-known in China and throughout central and west Asia. As one of the four major international fairs in China, the Urumqi Fair had a trading volume of US$2.67 billion in 2005.
