Sam's is a cheap and cheerful guesthouse located inside the former Shanxi Assembly Hall, which was built in 1663. The hostel is situated only 10 minutes on foot from both Tianfu Square and Chunxi Road.
The rooms are basic but clean, equipped with air conditioners, hot water and private bathrooms. The on-site kitchen not only serves up excellent Sichuan food, but teaches the guests how to make it too in daily cookery classes.
The hostel also offers ticketing services, bike rental, room service and access to a self-service Laundromat.
