The Green Forest is one of China's ''Triple-A Scenic Spots'' and is known as a natural oxygen room due to the lush foliage growing in the region. Inside the forest, visitors can enjoy the largest botanical garden on the southeast of China, where a sacred Buddhist Banyan Tree grows and a number of rare plants have been cultivated.
The forest is also home to a large area where war re-enactments are staged, as well as the largest grass-skiing grounds in China. The Puti Garden and Vegetable Kingdom are popular with visitors too.
