Full-time Literature Teacher for International (AP/Common Core) Curriculum School Job Profile:
A native English-speaking literature teacher is needed to join our well-developed humanities team for the 2021-2022 academic year. The literature teacher will be needed to teach American Literature to grade 11 students. The teaching style should be interactive and project based, giving students ample time to work collaboratively and to apply the content knowledge and skills being learned. Job Requirements: In order to be considered for this position, candidates will:
1. Have demonstrated successful experience teaching in the literature classroom
2. Have experience teaching English as a second language learners
3. Be able to work as part of a highly collaborative, multi-cultural team
4. Be willing to work to engage students with interesting, project-based activities
5. Ideally, have a degree in education from a university in an English-speaking country, and/or a teaching certification
