Our products have battery packs built in and can be controlled via app or wireless DMX protocol which enables a quick and easy setup. Product development is split between our offices in Germany and China, with production located completely in China. Sales & Marketing are based in Germany while Account Managers in Shenzhen take orders and make sure that goods are delivered to the distributors worldwide on time.

Job Introduction:
Astera is looking for a motivated individual to take over existing customers (official Astera distributors) that are based overseas. We are looking for somebody that can pay attention to detail, build up strong customer relationships and cooperate well with colleagues from other departments.

Main Tasks:
• Process orders from overseas distributors in time and make sure special requirements of each customer are taken care of
• Keep an overview over orders, payments, logistics etc. by filling out databases
• Keep distributors up to date about orders, products, and other developments
• Build a strong and long-term relationship with customers and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Handle customer issues and complaints professionally and timely
• Be an active part of the sales team and support the overall goal of the department by cooperating with the other account managers and other departments as necessary
• Additional tasks within the sales department will be assigned according to competence of the candidate
• Prepare and attend exhibitions as required

Requirements:
• 3+ years relevant work experience
• University degree
• Responsibility and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure
• Excellent English
• Interest in electronics

Additional skills that are of benefit:
• Chinese language skills or fluency in a third language such as Spanish or Japanese etc.
• Experience in entertainment lighting or film lighting
