About HD Tennis Academy

HD Tennis Academy is a rapidly expanding, newly established tennis provider in China. It delivers its services in private bilingual HD schools. With incorporation of tennis in the schools’ PE curricu-lum, HD Tennis Academy provides a complete training program for students from Year 1 to 12, high-performance and full-time training; as well as a wide range of programs for non-HD players.

Programs

Our wide range of programs consist of:
• PE Tennis;
• Extra Curriculum Activities;
• High-Performance;
• Full-time training program;
• Junior Group Coaching and Squads;
• Adult Group and Cardio Lessons;
• Private Lessons;
• Holiday Clinics;
• Intra-school competitions;
• Open day events; and
• Tours to tennis academies abroad and WTA/ATP tournaments.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

• 35 coaching hours per week;
• Delivering school programs according to schools’ tennis PE curriculum;
• Planning and delivering, well-structured and engaging junior programs;
• Providing adult and cardio tennis lessons;
• Training high-performance and full-time academy students - on and off court (in Ningbo);
• Planning and delivering all programs in accordance with Health and Safety procedures;
• Conducting and assisting with the planning of open events, holiday clinics and competitions;
• Travelling with students to local tournaments and/or academies abroad;
• Attending regular meetings with the General Manager;
• Reporting directly to the General Manager;
• Assisting in the promotion and development of HD Tennis Academy; and
• Performing related administrative duties as required.

Training, Education and Experience of Applicant

The ideal applicant shall have proven successful experience in:
• delivering programs in schools;
• working with players of different ages and levels; and
• conducting high-performance tennis training.

The ideal applicant shall:
• demonstrate a high level of U10 junior tennis knowledge;
• have previous professional playing experience;
• have basic computer skills;
• display a positive work attitude;
• present themselves in a professional and friendly manner; and
• excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Education:
• University Degree

Qualifications:
• Internationally recognised coaching qualifications
• First aid certificate

Language:
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Chinese is highly preferred

Clear criminal background check

Successful applicants will receive:
• a fixed monthly salary;
• a commission based on irregular, additional monthly hours;
• a two-year contract;
• housing allowance;

• relevant training.

Salary will depend on experience and qualifications.
There will be a potential salary increase and incentive payments based on Employee’s performance, client reviews and re-elrolments.
