Responsibilities:
- for ESL teachers ---to provide high-quality ESL instruction base on school academic outcome to improve students’ comprehensive English ability.
Guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals.
Prepare and implement syllabus with clear objectives for each lesson, unit, and project according to curriculum requirements.
Assess student learning process through ongoing observations and feedbacks, provide advice and assistance accordingly
Finish all tasks related to all kinds of tests, such as making out test papers, the register the exam result, analysis, etc.
Accomplish temporary task assigned by the executive director.
Requirements:
English Native Speaker preferred (U.S.A, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa)
Commitment to education as life-long career
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
Major in education, English or subjects-related majors.
CELTA/TEFL certificate or equivalent
A minimum of 24 months of Teaching experience is required.
Able to get a Criminal Background Check
Applicants have specialties on debate, public speech or performing arts are highly preferred
Abilities to understand and adapt to cultural differences.
Salary &Benefits:

Negotiable (base on position, credentials and experiences) plus full attendance bonus per month

Admiral Farragut Academy
Admiral Farragut Academy is college preparatory, military-style school, founded in 1933 and named after Admiral David Glasgow Farragut, the first U.S. Naval officer to rise to that rank. The school campus is located in the shores of Boca Ciega Bay in St. Petersburg, Florida. The combination of invaluable academic and life lessons learned at Farragut create what their alumni call “The Farragut Experience”. They prepare graduates to be critical thinkers ready to succeed, even in careers that do not currently exist. To that end, Farragut has graduated two of the twelve moon-walking astronauts.

Our school has been authorized by AFA US and becoming the main partner school of AFA US in China since 2013. School campus is located in the city center, a very historical area of Tianjin, China. The school has always been implementing the concept of the combination of Chinese and Western education philosophy, not only helping the students to achieve their academic goals but also educating them to be a greater person in all aspect. School curriculum is consist of ESL, Art, Mathematics, Science, Sociology, World language, student club, etc., At present, the school has nearly 300 students from G8 to G12, participating students would receive the high school diploma issued by AFA US after graduation and also would have a greater chance of gaining entry to American post-secondary institutions.

Admiral Farragut Academy Tianjin was established in 2013. Located at 3 Yantai Road, Heping District, Tianjin, the school is a college preparatory institution dedicated to assisting students in pursuing overseas education. Graduates from eight outstanding classes have been admitted to top-ranked universities worldwide, thanks to their outstanding academic achievements and well-rounded qualities.
Our school boasts an elite team of faculty members, with nearly 50% having backgrounds in overseas studies or work experience.
