Job Opening: Localization Translator

We are a professional game localization service provider, offering game translation and localization services for various domestic and foreign game companies. We are now hiring localization translators with the following requirements:

Job Description:

1. Native Americans, Canadians and British are preferred
2. Responsible for proofreading, translating, and localizing game-related content, including game text, menus, game introductions, guides, and storylines.
3. Deep understanding of game mechanics and game culture to ensure the translation is consistent with the game scene and cultural background.
4. Ensure the accuracy, coherence, and fluency of the translated text, and adapt it to different platforms and target audiences.
5. Coordinate with other team members to ensure the project is completed on time and with high quality.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or above in translation or other foreign language-related majors, with proficiency in English and some linguistic, literary, or related background knowledge.
Strong interest in game culture and game industry, with some gaming knowledge and experience.
2. At least 1 year of translation or localization-related work experience, with preference given to those with game translation or localization experience.
3. Can use common CAT tools such as Trados/memoQ
4. Love games and understand the habits of English language players
5. Strictly abide by the confidentiality agreement, independently translate and guarantee the quality and quantity, and prohibit any form of machine translation and outsourcing projects
6. Long-term stable cooperation, timely response to communication, declined to lose contact
