As our global team continues to grow rapidly, we are in search of a Footwear Development & Production Coordinator with internal and external project management abilities, a growth mindset, and a relentless attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain genuine factory relationships; ensure factory outputs align with business goals for all stakeholders: clients, Otabo, and factory partners
• Understand, communicate, and support key client brand and product launch goals
• Support the establishment of effective manufacturing approaches, production strategies, and product launch planning
• Coordinate product design, development, production timelines, quality control, shipping, logistics and launch for client accounts
• Request, organize, and photograph development samples from factories and to clients
• Clearly communicate project status and timelines with factories; manage factory expectations while establishing trust and rapport
• Understand and incorporate costing into factory management and decision making
• Participate in evening calls (1-2/month) with our team and clients in US, as needed
• ~5% - 20% regional and international travel required post-pandemic, pending account assignments

What we’re looking for:
• 2+ years of product development and production experience in footwear and/or project management
• Technology proficiency: Adobe Creative Suite, Excel, and G-Suite; willingness to learn additional platforms and software
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and move between them quickly
• Demonstrated, strong interpersonal and communication skills in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English language
• Valid passport or ability to apply for one
