Responsibilities:
1. Improvement of Babbitt alloy casting process. Our existing bearing products combine tin-based babbitt alloy or copper alloy with the bearing body by casting (including centrifugal casting and static casting). The process is relatively traditional, which is prone to segregation, porosity, pores, unstable bonding strength, etc. Condition. We are trying to replace traditional casting methods and achieve automation through new additive manufacturing technologies, such as high-speed spraying, laser cladding, and surfacing welding.
2. Development of new babbitt alloys or new alloys. We are continuously improving the formulation of babbitt alloys to achieve high temperature resistance, wear resistance, anti-segregation, and anti-coarse grain performance. We are also looking for new materials to replace babbitt alloys to improve bearing performance. We need to obtain theoretical support and guidance for the development of new materials at the level of basic science.
3. Marine equipment transmission, power system bearings and water-lubricated bearings for ships and ships. It mainly includes two aspects: First, the research and development of protective coatings for power system bearings. The service life of domestic diesel engine sliding bearings is generally 4,000 hours, and imported products can reach 20,000 hours. After our analysis, we preliminarily believe that one of the reasons for the huge difference in service life Is to protect the coating from abrasion. We need to obtain technical support in the field of protective coatings for more in-depth research and analysis to break through the bottleneck. The second is water-lubricated rubber bearings (or other high-molecular polymer water-lubricated bearings). The propulsion system is one of the main sources of vibration, noise and failure of underwater vehicles. Due to the cantilever load of the propeller, the specific pressure of the stern bearing is very large. Uneven load distribution results in poor lubrication of the stern bearing, causing thermal stress to generate vibration and noise, causing great performance hazards to ships and ships; in addition, nuclear power main pump bearings also belong to the field of water lubrication bearings, and our products have covered nuclear power secondary and tertiary circuits. Water-lubricated bearings are an important direction of our new product research and development, and we hope to get technical support in this regard.
