The Role

As a teacher you will be responsible for delivering lessons to students aged between 2.5 and 16 in classes ratio between 1:4 and 1:12. You will facilitate the use of new language in a supportive environment that mimics real life scenarios whenever possible, using pre-provided real-life objects, such as cooking food in our student kitchen facility.

The lessons and languages overall aim will be for students to take the language out of the classroom and use it in everyday situations with confidence.

Teachers are able to enjoy working across our six modern conveniently located centres and are part of an international team that are focussed on providing high quality education and share a passion for people.

Compensation

- Full time teachers guaranteed salary of 23,000RMB with additional payment options available

- 20 days annual leave per year

Requirements

Citizenship: Applicants must hold a passport from a native English-speaking country (United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa).
Education: Bachelors degree or above
Certification: TEFL/CELTA/TESOL certificate or equivalent
Minimum Employment Period: 12 months

Legal: Clean recent criminal background check from your native country

Wuxi's convenient location allows easy access to global attractions such as Disney World while also being home to many internationally recognised brands and cuisines.

All staff are able to live congenially, having generous disposable income to enjoy the local facilities and save each month without compromising their lifestyle.
Rental costs for a one-bedroom apartment range from 1,500RMB-3,000RMB ($210USD-$420USD) per month, taxi costs start from 10RMB ($1.40USD) and alcohol in an international bar averages 30-40RMB ($4.20USD-$5.60USD) per glass.
