Main job responsibilities:

Teaching
-Assume personal responsibility for the academic progress of all students
-Implement a coherent curriculum
-Utilize tech tools to differentiate instruction for students
-Use consistent school-wide practices and individualized methods to engage students in the classroom
-Participate in curriculum development

Classroom Management
-Create, monitor, and sustain a disciplined and joyous school culture of high academic and behavioral standards
-Provide structure in the classroom by developing and reinforcing school-wide rules and expectations

Student Support
-Communicate effectively and maintain strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
-Develop and maintain a positive, strong classroom culture.


Qualifications
Native English speakers with degree in English or related field of study
Previous teaching experience is essential
Preference given to candidates with a minimum of three years teaching experience in American K-12 schools
Clear and effective communicator
Enthusiastic and self motivated
Team player and willingness to take part in extra-curricular activities
