Hainan Private School Full-time English Teacher

Salary: 15k-25k
Grades: Prek-K, 1-12

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Adapts teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests
•Establishes and enforces rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among the students for whom they are responsible
•Observes and evaluates students’ performance, behavior, social development, and physical health
•Instructs students individually and in groups, using various teaching methods such as lectures, discussions, and demonstrations
•Reads books to entire classes or small groups
•Assess student’s performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills on regular basis
•Meets with parents and guardians to discuss their children’s progress, and to determine their priorities for their children and their resource needs
•Follows and complies with teaching standards and safety regulations
•Participates in other developmental programs
•Participates in faculty committees and the sponsorship of student activities
•Performs other duties as many, from time to time by assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications, Experiences, and Skills:
•Native English Speaker, based in China
•Master’s Degree or above in a related major.
•Proven working experience as an Elementary school teacher, Elementary school teacher assistant, or teacher aide
•Excellent knowledge of child development and latest education theories and practices
•Creative and artistic teaching abilities; proficiency at interactive teaching
•Patience and flexibility
•Good team-player attitude and solid communication skills.
•Candidates must satisfactorily complete a nationwide criminal background check for visa applications.
