Science（Biology & Chemistry）Teacher needed in Dongguan high school for Feb.
We need native English speakers who are in China already.

Location: Dongcheng district, Dongguan city.
Annual salary is RMB 264000-312000 (before tax) within the contracted period.

Medical insurance coverage upon completion of a medical examination conducted by health authorities stipulated by the school

Workloads:
(1) Teach a maximum 1100 minutes; fulfill homeroom responsibilities; and provide After School Activities(or equivalent responsibilities).
(2) Or teach a maximum of 840 minutes and carry the Head of Department (+Homeroom +ASA+ evening study hall rotation), Grade Level Coordinator(+ASA) or equivalent responsibilities. If the teacher is teaching less than the maximum periods,the Principal ordesignee can direct Party B to provide support for other programs or student supervision and learning to a level equivalent to the periods of teaching stated above.

Responsibilities:
1) Preparing and delivering engaging lessons to students from different backgrounds, who all have different interests and abilities.
2) Providing a variety of materials and resources for students to explore, manipulate and use.
3 ) Preparing lesson plans developing rubric, designing PBL project assignments and assessments, supervising students during science related events, experiments, and acting as a field tripchaperone.
4 ) Monitoring student performance, and adjusting teaching strategiesand techniques for improved content delivery.
5) Responding to student inquiries, and helping students on an individual basis.
6) Setting up exams, assessments, and experiments in accordance with curriculum requirements and standards.
7) Communicating any student issues to parents, counselors, and other relevant staff members.
8 ) Attending all school events, club meetings, and faculty and staff meetings as required.
9 ) Representing the school at conferences, workshops, and other networking events.
10) Coming up with suggestions to improve the Science Department and general school operations.
11) Building rapport with students so that they feel comfortable and safe discussing sensitive topics in school and community.
12) Encouraging students to participate in academic related projects, science fairs, competitions, and expos, and preparing them for these events.
