Senior English native linguist expert – UI editor
We are seeking for talented native English speakers to edit and test mobile phone related apps. Candidates must be keen for detail and be able to understand and explain technical ideas. They should have excellent communication skills preferably in both Chinese and English, if they have very good UX background, Chinese can be optional.
Primary responsibilities include:
1. Test English on mobile phone related interfaces from the end user perspective on culture, adaptability etc. as the source are mostly written in Chinese
2. English Editing for UI strings
3. English interface testing on I18N and L10N bugs
4. User experience testing
5. Discuss and communicate with internal developers sometimes
6. Compile and polish style and terminologies
7. Domestic travel in China occasionally

Requirements:
1. 2-5 years of related work experience (translation, editing, writing, copywriting and UI testing)
2. Bachelors’ degree or above, Language, UI design, IT or related majors preferred
3. Native US English speaker with good talent for editing and writing skills
4. Perfect culture sense

Preferred skills:
1. Intermediate or advanced Chinese in both written and spoken
2. User experience design background
3. Good at office suite
