IB PYP English as a second language teacher

Responsibilities:

To teach English as a second language to support the IB-PYP Units of inquiry and help students have their English at a level to begin secondary curriculum all in English at Grade 7;
To develop the children holistically;
Design teaching plans, and assign & correct homework according to curricular requirements
Prepare and administer tests, quizzes, and other student assessments as needed
Report student performance in a timely manner
Provide needed guidance to students
Organize student activities

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or above in English and literature;
Native English speaker;
Minimum 2 years’ verifiable subject teaching experience;
Demonstrate love to children learning and passion on teaching;
Working experience in IB school (preferred);
Good team player and solid communication skills;
With documents necessary for work permit application;
Cross cultural awareness.
