La Nao de China - Painting Exhibition of Max Sanz April 25-MAy 25

An exhibition of works by Mexican painter Max Sanz titled La Nao de China (China ships), will be open to the public from April 25 to May 25 at the Guangzhou Museum of Art.

The collection is inspired by the Manila Galeons, Spanish trading ships which sailed between Manila, China and Acapulco in Mexico. As the main cargom, they carried Chinese silks and the vessels were nicknamed China Boats and represent the beginnings of an important link between China and the New World.

The exhibition will be available to view for one month starting April 25 at the Guangzhou Museum of Art For more information check out the Museum’s website.
