It’s time to get cultural in Shanghai as 120 museums around the city will be opening their doors for free from May 17 to 19. To commemorate International Museum Day (yes, it’s a thing), the city’s finest museums, including the Shanghai Maritime Museum, the Shanghai Automobile Museum, the Aurora museum and many more will be free of charge all weekend.
What’s more, over 40 of the museums will be extending their opening hours until 21:00 to allow for extra visitors, so there are no excuses not to do something a little different this weekend.
