Beijing’s High Speed Motor Way Will Not Be Toll-Free for Dragon Boat Festival

Beijing’s High Speed Motor Way Will Not Be Toll-Free for Dragon Boat Festival

Motorists in the capital might be unhappy to hear that toll-free motor ways will not be a feature of this year’s Dragon Boat Festival. In the past, local road authorities have opened up the airport expressway and the high speed motor way by not charging tolls on certain national holidays. Not this time.

The festival which will be on Monday June 2, meaning that we have another long weekend to look forward to, will not have any restrictions of cars on the road, as per any weekend of holiday, but motorists will still have to pay tolls. Those looking to leave Beijing for the weekend will be upset by the news.
