Hey guys,
My name is Nick, I am a TEFL teacher at a school in Nantong, Jiangsu. It's a prefecture level city up the river from Shanghai.
Like many of you (at least I assume!), you will have some time off in February. I am really keen on doing some adventuring since this will be the longest stretch of time off this school is going to give me for the year (yes... really, really crummy). Anyways, I would sincerely appreciate any input that people may have for tour groups or just joining along with another group to do some sightseeing, etc.
I'm not a creeper. I never really put myself out there like this, but the company I work for is extremely small in my city and I don't have many friends in China yet apart from my co-workers or locals I've met! I've only been in China for a month and a half, give me a break people!
I look forward to hearing your input! I'm sure you guys read tons of these similar, "help me, sob story, etc" posts all the time. I'm very new to this sort of thing but I'm optimistically hoping that SOMEONE on here has a potential solution or can at least point me in the right direction.
Thanks guys,
Nick
