American Baby International English is looking for an experienced dynamic teacher to join our Academic Control team. The position is open to anyone who meets the requirements needed to complete all tasks with the utmost professionalism. The “Academic Control” section will be responsible for delivering and maintaining the academic departments’ products to different departments, centers, investors and any other entitled parties. All areas of the position are designed to maintain the academic quality of ABIE as well as have a professional presence in our schools. Working location will be in Shanghai, China.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Visit ABIE centers all across China and provide professional support to centers including center inspection, work counseling, monitoring and teacher training, etc.
Communicate with different departments and relay ABIE teaching information, teaching standards and demands from HQ to different centers.
Collaborate with R&D team to develop a set of curricula for ABIE courses. Specific work includes creating students and teacher materials, planning demo classes, video or voice recordings, and writing academic reports.
Support programs and products of Academic Department including giving teaching feedback, assisting in improvement of ABIE products and services.
Help with editing and proofreading of ABIE materials.
Coordinate with Creative Dept., Operation Dept., Business Dept. and Marketing Dept. on ABIE events or activities.
Assist the work in teacher recruitment and teacher training. Teacher training includes ABIE HQ internal training, management training and teacher training among national ABIE centers.
Write work reports and make work plans according to rules of Academic Department.
Applicants meeting the following criteria please apply:

• Two or more years teaching experience
• Degree from accredited university in education or related field (UK or American educational degree strongly preferred)
• Native English speaker or native English abilities
• A team player while able to work independently
• Demonstrated experience in using tools such as MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word
