1 vacancy for a US high school curriculum math teacher
Requirements:
1. Age requirement is between 23-50
2. Candidates should be from the US , UK, Canada, Australia or any native English foreign candidate with experience teaching the US curriculum
3. Bachelor's degree in related field.
4. A minimum of three years'; teaching experience or Master's degree is preferred though not required.
5. Candidate should have an out going personality and be willing to
contribute to the betterment of the team.
6. Candidate should have exceptional writing and speaking skills.
7. Must be a team player.
Duties:
1. Responsible for teaching both grades 9 and 10 classes, and eventually grade 11
2. Should be willing to positively contribute to the team as well as to the
school.
3. A total of 64-80 class teaching hours a month in addition to office
hours.Teaching hours that exceed required class teaching hours are
regarded as over time and remunerated as such.
4. Expected to be in the administration building during working hours
except during the lunch break.
5. Working days are Monday to Friday and the working hours are from
0800: 17:00
7. Expected to supervise study hall evening duty once a week from
18:00-20:30
8. Expected to maintain the high standard of teaching that is expected of
the teachers.
9. Expected to participate in teacher training seminars, weekly meetings ,
group meetings as required by school management.
10. Be open to class observations by senior academic management as well
as fellow teachers which will be followed up by monthly evaluation
meetings.
11. Participate in academic meetings during which teachers would share
new skills or methods that would overall contribute to the entire team.
12. Participate in school activities such as school parties, sports events etc.
Remuneration and Benefits:
1.Salary is negotiable and is dependent on experience . It ranges from
16K-20K.
2.Free self contained accommodation provided both on and off campus.
3. Annual signing bonus provided upon renewal of contract.
5. Paid summer and winter holidays with an option of working during these
holidays for extra pay.
6. A systematic salary system that encourages seniority for those that stay
on longer.
7. Flight allowance bonus of 5K provided at the end of every contract.
8. Free working visa sponsorship available.

The Jinshan campus runs grades 9 through to 11 and then students move on to grade 12 in the New Jersey campus. The main focus is to provide students with an all English environment that provides both the academic as well as extra-curricular activities that would make integration into the Rutgers Preparatory school in grade 12 an easy feat.
