New Pathway was founded in 2009 with the mission to provide high quality education for students seeking international education opportunities. Since then, New Pathway has grown to one of the most well-respected and well-recognized names in China for test preparation, student mentorship, and educational consulting. In the beginning of 2015, New Pathway Education merged with EIC Group, one of the largest education market shareholders in China. The purpose of the merger was to combine EIC’s market reach with New Pathway’s expertise and premium service. The resulting company now boasts strong presence in every major Chinese city and premium one-stop education solution for K7-12 customer groups, branded as Prestige Only.
What sets Prestige Only apart from every competitor in China is our commitment to developing the students. While other Chinese education companies are focused on results, some going as far as falsifying records, test scores, and recommendation, Prestige Only takes a different approach through mentorship, character development, and teaching lifelong success. Our company doesn’t just seek to place top students in top schools, but also to equip them with the skills, knowledge, direction, and discipline to thrive in those environments.
The merger gave us a greater landscape to reach more Prestige Only potential students, but it also made us recognize that there was a large market untapped by EIC or Prestige Only: students who crave, and deserve more attention and care than the services EIC mass market currently provides, but due to various reasons may not have the time, base-level skills and/or financial resources to qualify for the Prestige Only product. Hence the emergence of Premier Only, a product line that allows the student to tailor our range of services to their needs in order to grow into an attractive undergraduate or graduate candidate. Premier Only is a complementary department of Prestige Only that caters to the middle market clientele who seek an undergraduate or graduate education at a competitive US university, but focused on schools ranging from 31-100 in US school rankings. Premier Only provides both package and a la carte application and soft skill development services to students who may not have time to fully avail themselves of the Prestige Only product, but who wish to develop their abilities to excel in a competitive US university. Leveraging existing resources from Prestige Only and EIC, Premier Only already possesses a range of products specifically designed to appeal and add value to Chinese students seeking growth in their hard and soft skills, a robust network of sales and marketing teams in various major cities, and a dedicated and visionary leadership team. Your Role as a Prestige & Premier Only Project Manager and Computer Engineer:
If you received your undergraduate degree from a top university in China and a Master’s degree from a top 70 US university with degrees in computer science or information technology and possess strong communication skills with a passion for education and technology, then you just might have what it takes to be a Project Manager and Computer Engineer for Prestige & Premier Only. The Project Manager would be responsible for overseeing and contributing to the coding of an online educational platform that enables effective client and employee management while also capturing key education trends and US university data in ways that are easily accessible and effectively analyzed. The Project Manager would be responsible for managing a small team of coders to create the platform and would be expected to work very closely with managers and senior consultants from both the Prestige and Premier teams to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the platform. The Project Manager would be expected to bring innovation, creativity and coding excellence to the project as we aim to create the most interactive, effective and informational platform that informs our clients and transforms our industry. The Projects Manger would finally be expected to teach or consult a minimal number of students in order to understand the Prestige & Premier Only products.
Reporting to the Products Manager, the Project Manager would work closely with the entire Prestige and Premier Only team to drive the development and iterations of the online platform.
Rigorous training, adherence to company policies, and a high level of maturity are required given the responsibility and independence awarded to a Prestige and Premier Only Project Manager and Computer Engineer.

Qualifications
0-2 years experience
Undergraduate degree in computer science from a Chinese university
Masters degree from a top 100 US University in computer science or information technology
Strong English communication skills
Interest in education and technology
Detail-oriented
Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict deadlines
Coding ability and experience
Experience in teaching or education consulting a bonus
Experience in previous tech companies a bonus

Responsibilities:
Develop and manage creation of on-line platform
Contribute to coding of platform
Manage part-time coders
Liaising with department managers and senior consultants to develop functionality of the platform
Manage project timeline and meet key deliverables and time-tables
Teach/Consultant minimally to understand product for which the platform is designed
