Job Description:

The Teacher Quality Coach is responsible for assisting teachers to provide students with an engaging English language environment throughout their course of study. This includes monitoring the delivery lessons to the highest standards of English Language Teaching thus enabling students to become competent users of English.

The Teacher Quality Coach reports to the Teacher Quality Coach Supervisor

Working hours
The Teacher Quality Coach works for 40 hours per week distributed over a five day working week.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitor lessons to ensure they are given by teachers to the highest standards of English language teaching and provide coaching to the teacher as required;
• Demonstrate clear understanding of lesson objectives;
• Be familiar with the administrative procedures employed by the company;
• Become familiar with the programmes and courses of study at the company;
• Be responsible for teachers’ welfare and progress;
• Carry out teacher training related responsibilities including, but not limited to lessons, tutorials, seminars and presentations;
• Complete teacher monitoring forms in a timely manner;
• Substitute for absent colleagues, perhaps at short notice;
• Attend company social events, as required;
• Meet regularly with the Teacher Quality Coach Supervisor to communicate all relevant information;
• Cooperate with the Teacher Quality Coach Supervisor in ensuring the constructive communication and efficient operation of the department;


Requirements:
[Essential Background]

• College/University graduate;
• English native speaker
• Computer literate;
• Either a recognized TEFL qualification or EFL teaching experience
•Speaks English at an idiomatic level
•At least 3 years of experience in teaching
