The Japanese Business Manager will have the unique opportunity to help shape the Japanese marketing strategy of programs and campaigns and be exposed to a high level of responsibility, taking ownership of sponsorship outreach and development.
Job responsibilities:
The Japanese Business Manager will help with outreach and business development duties which will include:
8. Researching and identifying potential partnerships, campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
9. Helping to execute BD marketing strategy, with main attention to Japanese market
10. Maintaining relationships with current partners while developing new opportunities
11. Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators in the Japanese market.
12. Represent the company at events and be able to talk about company’s unique selling points
13. Maintenance and development of Japanese website including product descriptions, promotions and other translations.
14. Help with conceptualization and creation of Japanese online and offline ads, articles and other marketing materials.
Job requirements:
1. Native Japanese speaker or Native Chinese with fluent written and spoken Japanese
2. 2 yrs. proven experience in marketing and communications in a reputable company.
3. Good understanding of BD, Marketing & Communications.
4. Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator a plus.
5. Japanese required, basic spoken English
6. Innovative thinking and problem solving along with an open and collaborative communication style are critical.
7. Graduate or above.
