Tasks and Responsibilities:

- E-commerce website development and maintenance
- Development of all online, websites and e-commerce sites
- Design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing, and modification of all of our websites
- Manages architecture, features, functionality, content and strategies to support desired end users experience to directly impact lead generation
- Manages design-to-launch processes
- Integrates sites with databases and marketing automation platforms
- Optimizes sites for user friendliness
- Maintains online security
- Delivers online reports, inventory, order reconciliation and accounts receivable reports
- Updates online content
- Develops and designs micro-sites for campaigns
- Customarily and regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment for all production work
- Provides customer technical support such as log-in help and ordering issues

Qualifications and Requirements :

- 3+ years of website and e-commerce development experience
A solid understanding with e-commerce platform development. (Shopify, Bigcommerce Magento, OpenCart etc. website development experience)
Solid knowledge of the design-to-launch process, including typical time and resources needed to produce work on time, at high quality, and to specification
Solid experience in PHP, object-oriented programming, PHP MVC framework e.g. Zend and performance Restful/SOAP API
- Database management
- Keen attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and time management skills
- Act and work with a sense of urgency
- Customer service and solution centric
Solid knowledge of website development processes including, flow charts, mock-ups, wire-framing and prototyping
- Understanding of how to promote online awareness via online marketing initiatives
Understanding of front-end technologies including: HTML, CSS, Javascript, Ajax, Bootstrap, JQuery
Experience with credit card processing gateway integration and mobile commerce web- based solutions a plus
- Handle multiple tasks/projects at one time
- Fluent in English

Price is negotiable based on candidates skills and years of experience
