Working Hours: Five days/40 hours per week (max. 25 teaching hours, flexible office hours)

Meijin Tailored Tutorials (美津优学) is a high-end, British-run tutoring service that offers customised tutoring to students between 8 and 25 years old who are preparing to live or study abroad. Lessons are one-on-one or groups of up to four students, with tutors working with their students to achieve long-term development. Tutors have the freedom to develop their own long-term study plans and individual lesson plans based on the student’s needs. We aim to equip students with the skills to succeed overseas or find international careers, with genuine sophisticated English, critical thinking skills and cultural awareness, as well as preparing them for exams such as TOEFL, IELTS and SAT.

We are recruiting for tutors in our central Wuhan centre. Our tutors must have the experience and teaching skills to deliver their lessons independently, as well as excellent educational credentials and the confidence to develop strong relationships with students and their families.

Requirements
- Two years teaching experience
- Native English speaker
- Bachelors degree from Top 50 US or UK university (others considered)
- Experience with some overseas exams such as SAT or IELTS (preferred)

Specific Responsibilities
- Development of the teaching curriculum and teaching materials.
- Interviewing parents and prospective students to develop a long term study plan.
- Teaching lessons relating to English language, exam preparation, culture and study skills.
- Planning and delivering student activities
- Providing specialised educational input for local marketing events.
- Attending regular training.

We accept applications from specialist English teachers, but also teachers in other fields such as music, art and sciences, who are interested in applying their skills to helping students studying such subjects in an English environment.
