Education Background: Master’s degree in Library and Information Science OR equivalent education and experience relevant to the position, advanced degrees in relevant fields will be given preference in consideration.

Working experience: 3 years or more working as a librarian

Skills and qualification:

1.Understanding of library acquisitions, cataloging, and e-resources management practices

2.To ensure students and staff are effective users of ideas and information.

3.To form professional reading instructors and promote class reading

4.To collaborate with classroom teachers and specialists to design and implement lessons and units of instruction and assess student learning and instructional effectiveness.

5.Taking an active role in school improvement and accreditation activities

6.To empower students to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers and ethical users of information

7.Demonstrated understanding of client/server environment, and experience with software applications needed to administer application environments.

Compensation and Benefits:
· Base salary RMB 200K -- 300K with covered health insurance.
