FOR 2017-2018 SCHOOL YEAR--PKUES(JIAXING) position starts from Aug.2017
1. Help students (Grade10-12) with their application planning for top universities in English-speaking countries, mainly U.S.
2. Provide the guidance in college selection, early action or early decision advice, college interview preparation.
3. Assist the students in background ascension including modification of personal statement, recommendation letters, and essays.
4. Highly proficient in using Naviance.
5. Coordinate with the consulting team and keep effective communication relationship with students and parents.
6. Team work with admission advisors, including daily supervisory work and training to the new consulting team members.
7. To work very closely with the HOS, DP Coordinator and HS Principal.
Qualifications
1. 3-year work experience(or above) in foreign university admission advisory, including 1-2 year supervisory work experience in international school is preferred
2. Supervisory experience of American Universities with various students’ backgrounds and needs (age, scores, English level, subjects, etc.)
3. Native English speaker or bilingual Chinese-English speaker.
4. Spoken Mandarin is preferred
5. Existing networks with foreign countries’ embassies, universities, high schools would be a big PLUS.
6. Open-minded and professional flexibility, strong ability to adapt to a new culture/environment and raise to challenge
7. Other Preferred
• Experience in living or working internationally.
• Knowledge of the US and international higher education systems.
• UCAS (University and College Admissions Service) experience.

1. Location: Jiaxing, 20-minute ride by Railway from Shanghai.
2. Students’ age range: 16-18
3. Working hours: approx. 30 per week (as per HOS designed scheduled)

The School

Peking University Experimental School (Jiaxing, 0520dpauto-IB ) is a joint project of Peking University and Jiaxing Municipal government, 26min fast-speed train away from Shanghai City, the project is heavily invested, which entails 700million RMB initially and 150 acres of land, located at the heart of Jiaxing International Business District, a zone for more than 50 Fortune 500 companies, such as Walmart, Shell, Philips, Tesco, Lego, etc. and more than 1000 medium size enterprises from South Korean, Taiwan, Japan and Germany. These companies are eagerly looking for a professional and international k-12 IB education for their families.
