About the role
Dr. Panda is looking for a talented Art Director to manage our Art team and help create the next epic new games in our Chengdu Studio. The role requires a strong understanding of the kids’ games industry, remarkable leadership skills and the ability to share your amazing skillset with a team of talented artists. For this position we’re looking for someone with a proven track record. Someone who is happy to work under pressure and embraces the innovation that comes with mobile development.

Key Responsibilities:
•Lead, mentor, supervise and inspire the 2D and 3D art team in creating new Dr. Panda games.
•Formulate distinct styles for our future games that correspond with the Dr. Panda brand values.
•Translate creative concepts into functional assets while safeguarding quality.
•Ensure great quality and consistency of assets as delivered by 2D and 3D art teams.
•Maintain effective communication with management, artists and different departments within the company

Your Profile:
•3-4 years of relevant experience
•Highly motivated with qualifications and ambitions in the games industry
•Master at Photoshop. (skills with 3D software are a plus)
•Experience with cute and cartoony artwork
•Strong foundation in the traditional arts
•Track record in delivering excellent work while managing multiple projects (art styles) and timelines
•Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese
