The European Union Education Foundation (CHEER) together with the World Leading Schools Association (WLSA) is looking for a full time Physical Education (PE) Teacher for its prestigious 4 year WLSA Xin Zhu Yuan middle school international program in Shanghai, China. Duties to commence at the start of the new school year of 2017-18.

The CHEER Foundation/WLSA Foundation, with its headquarters in Amsterdam and two subsidiaries in Shanghai and Beijing, is a non-profit organization, whose mission is to promote education exchange and cooperation between China and Europe, as well as the rest of the world.

Requirements:
• 1) Good command of English. Native English speaker preferred.
• 2) A minimum of an appropriate Bachelors degree or equivalent diploma.
• 3) At least two years' experience in Physical Education.
• 4) Excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality.
• 5) Initial training and orientation is required before commencing teaching.

Function Description:
• 1). Providing Physical Education to Chinese students enrolled in WLSA’s four-year middle school international program in Shanghai.
• 2) Developing and using suitable PE teaching practices/lessons.
• 3) Planning, managing and controlling sports activities and events and leading students therein.
• 4) Using audio/video materials in class as necessary.
• 5) Supervising students and monitoring students’ physical development.
• 6) Adjusting and differentiating instruction to meet the PE needs of individual students.
• 7) Preparing PE evaluations and evaluating the physical development of students.
• 8) Leading and supervising students’ extra-curricular activities.
• 9) Participating in related teaching activities organized by CHEER and WLSA.

Benefits:
The salary is competitive and to be negotiated, based on education background and teaching experience. A work- and residency permit and expat health care plan will be provided.
