1. Assure pick lists and shipping labels are printed to proper ship point for all orders which are allocated. Create and transmit Flat Files to 3PL’s that are equipped to receive. (Hellmann, Europe and Australia).
2. Advise supervisor when product shortages occur and pick lists cannot be printed.
3. Transfer product in pointman from reserve locations to non-reserve locations as requested to fill orders. Submit for routing via web sites and follow-up on same to determine carriers schedule to pick up loads.
4. Update Excel spread sheet with Pick Ticket numbers and Routing information. (load number, carrier) Follow up on open orders daily to assure shipments are made within ship window.
5. Contact customer traffic when scheduled pickups are not executed. Properly ship against sales orders and process BOL including carrier, trailer number, PRO or tracking numbers and correct ship date to 3PL’s and to avoid customer charge backs.
6. Create master BOL for customers requiring same. Follow special customer requirements to fax paperwork to receiving locations. Forward completed paperwork to office services for scanning.
7. Communicate with 3PL’s to confirm truck carriers arrive to pick-up orders on required ship date.
8. Create work order for rework items.
9. Print UPC barcode inner item labels, Shipper UPC Labels, and generic labels as needed per work order. Post receipts of returned BOL’s on Shipping Excel sheets and request missing BOL’s from 3PL’s.
10. Pull daily UPM shipping records from pointman and match to UPM records. After complete verification forward to Inventory Team and Finance for billing.
11. Maintain Chep Pallet Control on website for Canada shipments. Format weekly shortage reports for review.
12. Confirm receipt of unloading reports from customer consolidators and request missing reports. Verifying rush transfers from 3PL’s for Sales Samples and distribute.
13. Update Wal-Mart Outbound Tracking reports with pick-up information. Send to Wal-Mart Team to show how carriers are affecting in-stocks.
14. Create Sales Order Roll spread sheet and distribute to assure orders are maintained properly. Perform Sales Order Roll each Friday evening before leaving.
1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
3. Able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
4. Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
