Oxford International College of Changzhou opened its doors in August 2012 to cater for both Chinese and expatriate students aged between 3 and 18 who require an international education and, for the older students, who aspire to attend universities worldwide. Presently operating from temporary premises, the new state-of-the-art teaching and boarding buildings will open in early 2015.
We are currentlyseeking an outstanding Primary teacher.
This is a classroom based role with the teacher being responsible for planning and delivering all lessons as part of a teaching team. Experience of mixed year group and knowledge of EAL strategies would be an advantage. The Primary school in OIC is an extremely friendly and cohesive group of teaching professionals where flexibility and a supportive atmosphere make the school a pleasant place to work. The students are a healthy mixture of Chinese and other nationalities. Our teaching and assessment is planned around the curriculums of both the UK and China.
The position is ideal for a candidate who wishes to experience local culture whilst being within easy reach of the major cities of Shanghai and Nanjing.
