Position Summary
Our Korean office has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join a successful team testing speech application products.
The hire will be part of a dedicated Language Test Team located in Seoul, Korea. The team is responsible for testing voice recognition applications for mass-market smart phones for some of the world's largest phone manufacturers such as Samsung, Motorola, LG, and RIM.

Languages
žGerman, French, English-US

Duties/ Roles and Responsibilities
žTest from the front end using mobile devices
žExecute of test cases or test scripts and submit and verify defects for production deployments
žWork closely with the Language Coordinators on testing priorities
žDevelop test plans and from functional requirements

Required qualifications:
žMust be native speaker of one of the languages mentioned above
žStrong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
žMust be comfortable using Windows, Word, and Excel
žMust be intuitive and demonstrate good problem solving skills
žMust adapt well to fast-past, dynamic work requirements
žMust be comfortable in a collaborative environment

Preferred qualifications:
žQA experience, especially in software development cycle and methodology.
žTranslation industry or foreign language teaching experience
žFamiliarity with Android smart phones
žFamiliarity with speech recognition technology
žTesting the front end for Web or Client Server applications
žUnderstanding of UNIX and/or Linux environments
žExperience working in an Iterative or Agile SCRUM SDLC methodology
žExperience with test case/script development and execution
žAny other computer skills beyond typical end user

Special Qualification
žMust have a work visa readily available to legally work in Korea: but visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidate with relevant Korea Immigration requirements
