Job Description:
Overall responsibility
To Create working instructions, manufacturing time and flowchart for our current and new products.
To Lead new product pilot run and give modification suggestion and request to NPI team.
To Provide trainings to production with each specific manufacturing step.
To Develop and set visual workmanship standards and key procedures.
To Coordinate with production and quality departments to implement standard work instructions, processes and procedures to insure absolute best quality product is produced.

Job Duties
Supervise Production Line, to set up production line according to our specifications and flowcharts. Constantly check if the line is running smoothly and in accordance with the manufacturing time. Make adjustments in the line whenever is necessary.
Optimize workshop and facilities layout. If necessary, restructure job duties, reorganize workflow, relocate workstations to improve worker efficiency and reduce waste of materials and utilities.
To train, develop and assist operators.
To debug and fix any problem during production with incoming material, problems in the line or any cause, taking corrective and preventing actions in order to avoid the same problem happen in the future.

First Article approval before batch production. To test first piece and to verify that it complies with quality standards, ensure the product was made according to our work instructions.
Tooling and facility layout, Design and develop tools and fixtures required to perform processes of new and existing products. Research for tools and equipment that enhance production capabilities and reduce production cost. Provide technical support for vendor tooling and Interact with vendors to procure tools and equipment.

To improve and optimize workflow and work processes for Production Department, and integrate them in the company’s ERP system.

Additional tasks might be assigned whenever required

 
Qualification:
• Proficiency in the use of Solidworks, Pro/E, AutoCAD, etc.
• At least 3yrs experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Familiar with electromechanical assemblies, familiar with LED lighting or lighting products, with the SMT process and technology;
• Material, mould & related knowledge about plastic parts, casting parts, silicone, extrusion parts & sheet metal stamping parts, gluing process.
• A creative approach for generating new ideas; engineering and design principles.
• Proficient English speaking is a plus.
