We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic person with a high level of knowledge in online marketing and E-commerce to be our Online Marketing Manager for a leading Australian department store.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the directors, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the marketing team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Direct and oversee the marketing team consisting of eight specialists working with organic search, paid search, email marketing, display advertising, affiliate marketing, social media, and various other marketing channels.
- Provide strong leadership and manage, motivate and mentor the local marketing team to build a marketing organization that drives sales and produces measurable results.
- Work with the web development team as well as external agencies on areas such as website optimization and search engine optimization.
- Responsible for meeting business goals and objectives associated with online marketing channels and delivering outstanding business results.
- Propose, manage and implement the budget and promotion plans.
- Manage by metrics and have budget accountability and responsibility for all marketing activities.
- Review changes to the online marketplace and industry and adjusts marketing plan accordingly.
About you:
- Have an expert level understanding of all aspects of online marketing as well as experience with eCommerce websites.
- Be enthusiastic about the potential in Australia, and be ready for the challenge of playing a key role at an international online retailer.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to not only create the plan, but roll up your sleeves and tactically drive home implementation.
- Ability to self-organize multiple tasks well and to complete them on time with a clear focus on quantitative results.
- You bring excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills as well as prior experience with developing budgets and controlling costs.
- Excellent communication skills - proven results with key decision makers
- Degree in business, marketing or related field
- Fluent English (oral and written)
