Founded in 2000, Wuhan Britain-China School (WHBC) now offers four complete and integrated international programmes, including Cambridge A-level (CIE Centre No.: CN276), IBDP (IB World School code: 49452), AP (CEEB code: 694471) and NCUK IFY. We pride ourselves on being one of the leading international schools in China, and now we have over 650 students across the four programmes. Over the past thirteen years we have placed over 1800 students in some of the world’s best universities including leading institutions in the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, and Hong Kong, such as University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, London School of Economics and Political Science, University of Rochester, Penn State University, Cornell University, UCLA, University of Melbourne, Australian National University, University of Toronto, McGill University, Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, Chinese University of Hong Kong, etc. In 2013, WHBC was approved by the British Council as the very first IELTS Test Centre in a Chinese high school. Over 100 qualified expatriate and bilingual teaching staff and a dedicated professional team of school counselors and administrators are now contributing to our continuing development. With its strong record of achievement in teaching, counseling and administration and its reputation for impeccable academic integrity, WHBC now attracts students from all over China. As part of our continuing expansion, we are recruiting more subject teachers. The initial contract will be for two years. Upon successful completion of the first two years, a three-year contract will be offered. There is a very competitive salary package, including accommodation, paid holiday leave, medical insurance, accident insurance, visa assistance, relocation allowance, repatriation allowance and a return flight allowance.
We are now recruiting teachers of the following subjects:
Physics
Mathematics
Applicants with relevant A-level, IBDP, or AP teaching experience of the above subjects are highly preferred. The ability to offer a combination of subjects will be an advantage for applicants
Letters of interest should include a brief CV listing all relevant experience and a copy of the back page of the applicant’s passport.
