Montessori Kindergarten Foreign Teachers Needed

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Curriculum Implementation & Management

• Build and refine the management system to ensure the best academic results
• Ensure the Montessori curriculum is implemented in your classroom
• Establish classroom policies, procedures, and forms to successfully implement the Montessori curriculum
• Regularly assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the Montessori curriculum
• Care for and maintain the classroom materials

Classroom Supervision and Management

• Maintain courtesy, respect, and positive disciplinary procedures with children
• Ensure each child receives equal opportunities for education in all areas of learning according to the child’s developmental needs
• Provide a safe environment for the children placed in your charge until each has been dismissed or handed over to another responsible adult
• Place the child’s interests first above other personal and professional considerations

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Native English speakers (US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand preferred)
• Bachelor's degree or above
• International Montessori certificate (AMS or AMI preferred)
• 2 years working experience, Montessori teaching experience preferred
• TEFL/TESOL certificate preferred
• No criminal record

SALARY & BENEFITS:
• 12,000-20,000 RMB monthly salary based on experience
• Chinese and (some) Western holidays off
• Annual travel bonus, further bonuses available with longer contracts
• Work visa and residence permit sponsorship
• Five working days per week
• Summer vacation
