GENERAL
Oxford International College of Changzhou (CZOIC) was founded in 2012 as a joint cooperation between BE Education and the Wujin Government, Changzhou. We are a co-educational international school, accepting students ages 4-18, with boarding for students age 8 - 18. We follow the British national curriculum and are an accredited Edexcel testing centre for IGCSEs and A-Levels. Our faculty are all certified teachers in their chosen subjects; most of our teachers are native English speakers from the UK, US and Canada, among other countries. Building on our directors’ personal experience in UK schools, including Eton College, we strive to develop students not only academically but also personally to create successful students and people.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Supported by the local Marketing & Admissions team in addition to the Shanghai-based Headquarters Marketing team, the Marketing & Admissions Manager is responsible for increasing school enrollment of high caliber students. He or she does this by leading the team to increase inquiries through various marketing tools and then convert inquiries to paying students. This position is primarily sales-focused and successful candidates need to be sales-oriented and driven in addition to being able to manage a small operational team.

• Create school’s annual marketing plan, budget, and direction; use Headquarters’ analysis to adjust the plan throughout the year as needed
 Events schedule
 Online and offline advertising plan
 Partnerships
 Liaison with Shanghai team for major budget and forecast updates
• Event planning and execution: provide clear guidance to Marketing Specialist for each event’s execution; do initial communication to participants as needed to ensure cooperation
 Understand events occurring in other branches and leverage key learnings to improve local events
• Manage network of agents and other partner types to drive qualified leads
 Manage all information related to partners
• Liaise with local businesses for corporate sponsorship through bequests, scholarships, and event participation
• Manage the school’s involvement with the community to maximize the school’s profile
• Work with local and provincial media to drive awareness of school and benefits of international education
• Use BEAM (internal database tool) to monitor event success and lead status
• Oversees Admissions team’s lead conversion efforts to ensure high conversion and smooth information flow among all related parties within the school


KEY DELIVERABLES
• Meet prospect-to-student conversion targets set based on historical data
• Ensures team uses BEAM (internal database) in accurate and timely manner to manage all events, contacts, and leads
• Clear annual marketing plan and budget with periodic updates based on agreement with Headquarters and use of data-based analysis


PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The Marketing & Admissions Manager is line-managed by the principal with dotted line reporting to the Shanghai-based Marketing Director. He or she:
• Receives in-house training
• Participates in annual staff professional reviews and target-setting relating to renewal of post


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
A successful candidate:
• Has experience in international education; experience in education marketing is a nice to have
• Has experience in business development
• Has the right combination of communication and interpersonal skills necessary for working effectively and positively with parents, students, administrators, and management in addition to outside partners
• Has strong writing and presentation skills
• Is comfortable with modern marketing data analysis
• Is comfortable with MS Office in addition to web-based tools
• Is fluent in Chinese and English
